About Cauvery

Sree Cauvery School at Indiranagar stands both as a symbol of integrity and also as a tribute to the Kodavas as an enlightened community with an immense love and respect for education.

Let us retrace our path. The pioneering steps taken by great luminaries like the former Chief Minister of Karnataka, Late Sri. R. Gundu Rao , Late Lt. Col. Koothanda M. Chengappa and many hands seen and unseen toiled to build this institution to what it stands today.

From a humble beginning with forty students in 1982, today 37 years later the mammoth structure replete with laboratories and an auditorium houses 1439 students.

The school is managed under the guidance of the Kodava Samaja Education Council.

Sree Cauvery School holds its pride in flaunting its excellence in the field of academics, sports, co-curricular activities and state of art technology in classrooms.

Bricks and mortar does not make an institution. Hence our aim is to produce dedicated leaders for the future. To achieve this, the pillars strive to create a close community, based on love and sharing where every member be it, teacher, pupil, parent, Principal or non academic staff contributes their respective share to build an integrated India and a more united world.

  • In our school we take pride in the following traditions:
The quality of simplicity in person, behaviour, relationship and lifestyle is cherished.
To be always friendly, polite and courteous with everyone at all times.
To accept whatever work is assigned to us as our rightful share and lend a helping hand unasked for.
To accept success without pride and failure without discouragement.
To respect the serenity of the school atmosphere.
To be loyal to the Alma-Mater at all times.

The above mentioned points are what drives us towards our cherished goal and we wish to seek it in body, mind and soul.
