Sree Cauvery Celebrates National Science Day 2021
National Science Day is celebrated every year on February 28. This day recalls the notable invention “Raman Effect” by India’s greatest scientist C V Raman. He was awarded the Nobel Prize for this discovery. Since that day, February 28 is being commemorated as National Science Day to recall the great discovery of CV Raman.
The theme for National Science Day 2021 is “Future of STI: Impacts on Education, Skills, and Work”. The National Science Day 2021 aims to motivate the students to gain hands-on experience in the field of science.
Students, teachers and staff of Sree Cauvery celebrated National Science Day in campus in the form of skits, speech, fancy dress and songs that highlighted the role of science, technology and scientists in our day to day life and in the growth and development of our country and the world in general.
The talents and knowledge of the students were showcased via science exhibition in the school auditorium where various concepts and innovations in the field of science were displayed in the form of charts, static and working models. It was a very entertaining and enriching experience for students, teachers and parents alike.
