Library

School library is well stocked with 8576 books. The library is updated every year with the latest books. The library software automates the wide range of library tasks like the student data, bibliographic input, circulation and stock verification. Students have regular library periods in their time table. Books are also issued home from class 5 and above.

Apart from the fiction, non-fiction and humongous reference section, we have comics and age appropriate magazines and periodicals for the students to improve their language and general knowledge.

To improve and imbibe reading skills in students, regular library activities are conducted in the library. There are regular story telling sessions too for class 1 for reluctant readers. In order to rekindle the reading spirit in a child, “Reader of the year” awards are given to the students in Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior categories. One child from each category is awarded the prize on the Annual Day. A gift voucher and a certificate is given as token of appreciation.
